Mi Casa's Mission:
To provide safe, affordable housing for low-income families in our community.
 Mi Casa's Vision:
Our goal is to have scattered housing where low-income people can live in stability in our neighborhoods while building better lives for themselves and their children.

We are powered by VOLUNTEERS!

Mi Casa's volunteers are passionate about providing assistance to families who are on the edge of homelessness. Mi Casa owns duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes scattered throughout Puyallup, Sumner, and Edgewood neighborhoods. We have 38 rental units which provide long-term housing for approximately 160 women, men and children. Mi Casa does not employ a staff. Our volunteer Board of Directors handles all aspects of this charitable nonprofit and we
retain a professional property manager to manage the rental properties, reporting to the Board each month.
Mi Casa Housing places a high value on family integrity and community support. For 30 years we have continued to carry out the vision of providing affordable housing for families in our local community.

These homes are located in safe, clean neighborhoods with convenient access to good schools, shopping, parks, and public transportation in Eastern Pierce County. Catering to families who fall below 50% of the median income, Mi Casa housing keeps rents at normally 50% or lower than fair market value.  Mi Casa understands that income may be inconsistent and will offer subsidies for a period of time when a tenant cannot make a payment.  This provides families the opportunity to get back on their feet without the fear of losing their home.
Do you have questions or comments? Please contact us via email to our Board of Director's President, Steve Miller, at  president@micasahousing.org or leave a message on our phone at 253-200-1363. We are all volunteers, but we will get back to you as soon as we can. Thank you for your interest in Mi Casa's affordable housing mission.
